Bob and I recently did away with our cable; the main reason we decided to get rid of it was to be more productive and to save money. The money savings is working out, the productivity isn't. What in the heck do people do without cable? We have had cable for the last 7 years, we have become pretty accustom to being entertained by the magical tube. I love TV, probably more than most people, (well not more than my brother) so this breakup with cable has been an adjustment. So I am trying to think of other things we can do instead of watching tv, here is my list so far:
1) painting - canvas, not walls
2) sewing - I am too scared of messing anything up to actually get too involved in it
3) crafting - I want to make a dry erase board
4) watering plants & pulling weeds - that one is Bob's
5) talking my mom into gardening - i want fresh veggies
6) baking - I love to bake but right now it is super hot so it is hard to heat the house with the oven
7) blogging - I am totally hitting that up right now
8) couponing - I am TRYING to get into this but I find that a lot of the stuff is junk food
That is about all I can think of. I am totally up to suggestions from you guys on activities I should take up! Throw them out there guys! Help me with this breakup!

Who knew couponing would be so challenging?
So I have been working this evening on gather coupons to go grocery shopping; just when I am feeling victorious I come across a website that throws my whole game off. TotallyTarget.com, she has so many good target deals on it. Just when I was thinking I was going to have to go to the DREADED Wal-Mart to get my groceries, I remembered that Target price matches (with some exception, the most notable to me is produce without a specific brand). So I am going to start over and see what I can find to price match at Target. Wish me luck!
BTW, I found a website today that said if you go through Amazon Mom you can get Pampers SoftCare Wipes 720 count for $12.94 Shipped.
You log in through Amazon Mom
Search Pampers SoftCare Scented 10X Wipes 720 Count
Select Subscribe & Save and get the wipes shipped for $12.94.
Pretty sweet deal, I thought. I'm looking at you Chris.

I will give this a whirl
So I was trying to figure out a way to get pictures on the internet for my friends and family to see and I decided in a minute of absent mindness that I would start a blog... We'll see how this goes. Hang in there with me.
